Andra focuses her work on Medicare and Medicaid billing and human research compliance. She is experienced with developing Medicare coverage analyses for clinical research trials. Most recently, she has been responsible for restructuring and writing all policies and procedures for the human subjects protection program of a university with over 1,000 active protocols totaling over $300M in annual federal funding. Her responsibilities on this project include the AAHRPP research accreditation process, with a focus on the university’s role as the IRB of record for a VA Medical Center, auditing VA research protocols for the university, and assisting with program implementation. Andra studied a pre-med curriculum and obtained her BA in economics and English from Boston College and her JD and LLM (health law) degrees from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
